Frequently Asked Questions
What is an LSV?
LSV is the acronym for Low-Speed Vehicle. An LSV is a class of small, lightweight electric vehicles that was originally introduced to meet the short distance transportation needs of residents of gated communities. LSVs have four wheels and drive at a maximum speed of between 32 km/h and 40 km/h.
Is LSV Street Legal?
Yes! If you opt for the LSV upgrade this makes your vehicle street legal! We equip everything that is required by Transport Canada to ensure you're completely legal and safe.
How are NXT Vehicles Charged?
NXT has a built-in charger, this 120vac charger plugs into a typical wall outlet and takes approximately 5 hours to charge fully from empty.
Is 4-wheel Drive an Option?
At this time not as a standard option, due to the complexity of integrating 4wd in a LSV it is currently cost prohibitive to provide this as a standard option if you insist on 4wd please contact us for a custom build.
How Far Can an NXT travel?
NXT Vehicles can travel for over 60km a single charge, driving conditions and demand can affect the exact range. If range is a concern, ask us about solar panel trickle charger options and battery pack options to increase range.
Can I Leave My Charger In?
Yes. Thanks to our battery management system, there is no need to worry about affecting the longevity of your battery charging for extended periods of time.
Can I Finance an NXT?
Yes! Lease to own carts is available through a third-party leasing company. Unlike a car lease, these leases are lease to own, with standard terms being 66 months with a $0 buyout. Giving you the ability to get your personal NXT today without having to put down thousands of dollars up front and knowing you're paying for a cart that ultimately you will own, not a bank.
